Approach and anchoring
Enter Clinton Harbour westward of Kelsey Point Breakwater. The buoyed federal channel carries about 8 feet to the town dock, with seasonal private buoys leading on to the anchorage basin. The marina sits on the Indian River arm of the harbour, with direct access to Long Island Sound.
Practical
Long-term and transient berths. Showers, heads and a laundry area within walking distance of the berths. Picnic area with grills on the property. Downtown Clinton with restaurants and groceries is a few minutes away. Now operated as Petzold's Port Clinton.
Ashore
Hammonasset Beach State Park, the largest shoreline park in Connecticut, lies just east of the harbour. Clinton Crossing factory outlets are about 2 km inland.
