Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-west, clear of rocky heads on either side of the entrance. Sheltered from NW through W to SW. Exposed to winds and swell from S and SE. Anchor in 3 to 5 m on sand, well inshore if draft allows.
Practical
No facilities. Nearest harbours are Le Palais, 4.7 nm NW, and Sauzon, 7.7 nm NW. Fair-weather anchorage.
Ashore
The cove opens onto a sand beach backed by low cliffs. The coastal path GR 340 crosses behind the beach. Bangor village is about 2.5 km inland by a minor road, with basic shops.
