Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter from the north on a line clear of the eastern headland. Sand bottom with good holding. Well sheltered from the prevailing W to SW, including south winds, but fully open to N and NE.
Practical
No services in the cove. Le Palais marina 0.8 NM to the N offers the full range of facilities, and Sauzon 3.8 NM to the NW is an alternative.
Ashore
The Citadelle Vauban of Le Palais stands about 1 km north along the coastal path GR 340, which circles the whole island. Shops, bakeries and the ferry terminal to Quiberon are in Le Palais.
