Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south via the Aven estuary, leaving the Cochon de Beg Porz beacon to starboard. Sandy bottom with fair holding. Good shelter from NW through N and NE to E and W, fully open to S. Strong ebb current in the Aven channel on falling tide. VHF 9 for Port-Manec'h.
Practical
Water tap on the pontoon at Port-Manec'h 0.4 NM west. Port du Bélon 1.2 NM NE for oysters and a restaurant.
Ashore
Sentier côtier GR 34 runs along the headland with views over both estuaries. Beach of Port-Manec'h 500 m west, sheltered by the headland. Bélon oyster farms along the river 1 NM NE, the original source of the plate Bélon oyster cultivated since the 1860s.
