Approach and anchoring

Sand bottom. Shelter from the N, NW, W, SW and S sectors, exposed to easterly winds and swell. Port-Joinville lies 2.2 nm to the NW for refuge, Fromentine on the mainland 13 nm NE.

Practical

No services ashore at the anchorage. Landing by tender to the beach, then coastal path east toward Pointe du Châtelet and its memorial cross 2 km away, or west toward Anse des Vieilles.
