Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, keeping clear of the rocks off the Cap de Carqueiranne. Anchor on clear sandy patches only, never on Posidonia meadows, which are protected under French law and marked on the latest SHOM charts. Exposed to S and SE swell; reliable only in settled weather with N to W winds.
Practical
No facilities on the beach. Port Maravenne and Port Miramar, both at La Londe-les-Maures, lie 1.5 nautical miles W, with water, fuel, and yard services managed by the Société d'Économie Mixte de La Londe.
Ashore
Coastal footpath, part of the sentier du littoral, links the chapel of Saint-Georges to the Mines de Cap Garonne museum about 1.5 km W, a former copper mine open to visitors. Village of Le Pradet and its shops are roughly 2 km inland.
