Approach from Lake Superior into the inlet south of Bayfield. Pikes Bay Marina and Port Superior Marina lie within 0.2 nautical miles to the south-west and share the same approach. The bay is sheltered from most quarters, with open water exposure to the east.

Practical

Pikes Bay Marina is a full-service yard with 208 berths from 30 to 60 feet plus side ties to 90 feet, a fuel berth, ship store and heated indoor storage. It holds Wisconsin Clean Marina certification. The town of Bayfield with shops and provisions is a short drive north.
