Approach and anchoring
Reached from the ICW near mile 921 by working into Turkey Creek. The lagoon shoals to under 3 ft outside the marked channel, so stay on the markers. The marina monitors VHF channel 74.
Practical
Covered and open wet slips with 30 amp shore power, plus dry storage. A 5 ton travel lift handles repair haul-outs up to 24 ft. There is a ship store, ice, fish cleaning station, laundry and showers. Office open 9 to 5 daily. Phone 321 723 0851.
Ashore
Turkey Creek Sanctuary lies just upstream, a wooded county sanctuary with a boardwalk along the creek and manatee sightings in cool months. Shops and a supermarket are reached within about 2 km along Dixie Highway.
