Approach and anchoring

The basin lies off Northwest Creek where it meets the Neuse River, about 18 miles upriver from the ICW and 5 miles by water from downtown New Bern. Approach depth around 8 feet, dockside about 12 feet. VHF channel 16.

Practical

274 fixed-dock berths for boats up to 60 feet, with provision for larger vessels on request. Fuel, laundry, a sail folding area, upgraded heads and dock Wi-Fi. Transient boaters are welcomed and boat rentals run from the marina.

Ashore

The adjacent Broad Creek Recreation Center offers memberships covering indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, fitness centre, tennis and a playground. Downtown New Bern, 5 miles by water, has shops, restaurants and the Tryon Palace site.
