Guide
Approach and anchoring
North Lake links to the Intracoastal Waterway through an inlet off Hollywood Boulevard. It is shallower than South Lake, so it suits smaller draught boats. The lake is enclosed and sheltered from all directions; holding is in sand.
Practical
North Lake is used as an anchorage, and the city has planned a mooring field with about twelve berths. Hollywood Marina, a full-service marina at AICW marker MM 1072, lies 0.1 nm to the south-east. Loggerhead Marina Hollywood is 0.9 nm to the south. Shops and restaurants line nearby Hollywood Boulevard.
