Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from Long Island Sound through New Haven Harbour. Members lie on moorings in the harbour or dry-sail from the club hoist. Maximum draught about 2.4 m. VHF channel 68. Harbor Point Marina is 0.2 nm to the W.
Practical
One free guest mooring for sailing yachts up to 35 ft LOA and 11,000 lb, for a maximum of three nights, first come first served and best booked through Dockwa. The launch service is for members only, so guests use their own tender. There are an outdoor shower, a pavilion and heads ashore.
History
Chartered in 1882, the club has sailed out of Morris Cove for daysailing, racing and cruising for more than 140 years.
