Guide
Approach and anchoring
Access from the Tacoma Narrows through the Day Island channel. The channel shoals at low water and is best taken above mid-tide. Strong tidal streams run under the Narrows Bridge nearby and should be planned around slack water for slower vessels.
Practical
Covered and uncovered berths with shore power and water. Fuel berth with marine diesel and ethanol-free petrol. Pump-out station and public boat launch ramp. On-site bait and tackle shop with provisions, ice and cold drinks. Restaurants on the marina site. Operating since 1949.
