Approach and anchoring
Fair-weather mooring off the Chambre d'Amour beaches. Drop the hook on sand in 8 to 12 m outside the bathing zone. Exposed to W to NW swell. Brise-Lames of Anglet lies 1.4 nm to the SE, Port Adhoc Bayonne-Anglet 1.8 nm SE up the Adour estuary.
Practical
Shelter from east winds only. No services on site. Fuel, water and berths at Port Adhoc Bayonne-Anglet. Bar at the mouth of the Adour is tide-dependent and should be crossed at slack water with caution.
