Approach and anchoring
Approach between the pink granite rocks and islets of the Pleumeur-Bodou archipelago. Strong tidal streams, drying rocks around the bay, navigation at mid to high water recommended. Sand bottom. Open to the west, sheltered from N through E and from the south.
Practical
Water point on shore. No other services. Port Saint-Sauveur 1.3 NM to the south-west at Trégastel for fuel and provisioning. Landrellec village 0.6 NM east for bakery and small shops.
Ashore
Sentier des douaniers GR34 runs along the shore. Île Grande causeway accessible at low water, with the LPO seabird reserve and ornithology station. Radôme and Cité des télécoms at Pleumeur-Bodou 3 km inland.
