Approach and anchoring

Lies on the Cape Vincent waterfront near the head of the St Lawrence River. Dockside depth is shallow, around 3 feet, suiting boats up to roughly 30 feet. Snug Harbor is about 0.2 miles to the north-west.

Practical

Around 100 berths with shore power and water. Boat, engine and trailer repairs, a launch ramp, marine store, petrol and propane. Pontoon and fishing boat hire. Open May to mid-October.

Ashore

Tibbetts Point Lighthouse stands about 3 miles west at the point where the lake meets the river. Built in 1854, it keeps the only working Fresnel lens on Lake Ontario and its grounds are open year round.
