Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom. The anchorage is open to the river and gives shelter only from the north-east through east to south-east, with no protection from westerly weather.
Practical
No marina services here. Half Moon Bay Marina lies 2.7 miles to the north and Nyack Boat Club 4.3 miles to the south-west. The park has a beach used to launch kayaks and a public ramp that needs a town permit.
Ashore
The park has fishing piers, picnic tables and a playground, and sits beside Ossining station with Metro-North trains to New York City. The town centre with shops is a short walk uphill from the waterfront.
