Family-run freshwater marina on the south shore of the Lake Washington Ship Canal in Seattle, next to the Ballard Locks.

Approach and anchoring
From Puget Sound, lock through at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks then turn east along the south bank. The marina is at 3030 West Commodore Way, in Magnolia, a few hundred metres east of the locks. Canal kept at lake level.
Practical
About 135 covered and open berths, taking boats up to roughly 50 feet. Run by the same family for over 50 years. Rates published per foot: around 10 USD covered, 8 to 9 USD open depending on length. Apartments on the property above the marina office. Phone 206-283-6260.
