Guide
Approach and anchoring
From the ICW, head east at green marker 13 and hug the east shore, which carries about 6.5 feet. Once in the lake, alter course towards the WSW to clear a shoal and anchor in 8 to 9 feet. The basin gives protection from all directions.
Practical
No land access from the surrounding homes and no dinghy dock on the lake itself. For provisions, take the tender from the SW corner under the 7-foot bridge towards the Southport Raw Bar. The anchorage fills early at weekends. Pier Sixty-Six Marina lies 0.3 nm SW.
