Approach and anchoring
Access restricted to members of the Lake Mission Viejo Association and their guests. Main launch and marina at North Beach off Olympiad Road, secondary access at East Beach off Lanzarote Road in season. All private vessels must be registered, inspected and quarantined before launch.
Practical
Speed limit 7 mph throughout the lake. Sailboats limited to 18 feet overall, other craft to 21 feet. Only single-hull sailing boats, rowing boats, electrically powered boats and paddle craft are admitted. Rental fleet of rowboats with electric motors, 14 ft Capri sailboats, pedal boats, kayaks and pontoon boats.
