Approach and anchoring
Shallow lagoon, approach via the buoyed channel from the étang de Thau. Keep clear of the oyster and mussel tables that cover much of the northern shore. Sheltered from N and NE; exposed to the S when the marin blows across the lagoon.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services on the water. Port de Bouzigues lies 0.2 NM west for water, fuel and berths. Shellfish farmers work the tables daily, give them a wide berth under engine.
Ashore
Village of Bouzigues 400 m west, shellfish stalls and oyster shacks along the quai du Port. Mussel and oyster museum on rue Commandant Cousteau, 500 m from the landing. Coastal cycle path EV8 runs along the lagoon shore toward Mèze 6 km west.
