Approach and anchoring
Enter Jarrell Cove from Pickering Passage between Harstine and Stretch Island, watching the unmarked rock off the western point at low water. Marina lies on the south shore of the cove, state park docks and 12 mooring buoys on the north shore.
Practical
200 ft guest pontoon, fuel berth with diesel and petrol open to the public, pump-out, water and a shore store with groceries and ice. No haul-out. Slips for boats up to 50 ft. Phone 360-426-8823.
Ashore
Jarrell Cove State Park across the cove, 67 acres with picnic shelters and a 0.5 mile loop trail. Hartstene Pointe community beach 3 km north. No shops or restaurants on the island, nearest provisions in Shelton 20 km by road.
