Approach and anchoring

Approach from the ocean via the Anaheim Bay small-craft channel opened in January 2021, then north through Huntington Harbour. A fixed bridge of 23 ft vertical clearance restricts mast height. Harbour dredged to 11 ft. Maintain VHF 16 for Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach instructions.

Practical

Private club at 3821 Warner Avenue with its own clubhouse and docks. Visiting yachts only by reciprocal arrangement. Huntington Harbour Marina lies 0.3 nm to the east for transient berths.

History

Incorporated in October 1965 by thirteen founding members. The current clubhouse and docks were built by the membership in 1977 and 1978 on a 30-year lease from the City of Huntington Beach, dedicated in April 1978 and extended in 1984. Senior member of the SCYA since 1981.
