Approach and anchoring

Enter Ebenecook Harbour from Sheepscot Bay between Cape Newagen and Five Islands, then north through the marked channel. Well sheltered from all but strong southerlies. Yard service available on vessels up to 70 ft at the Southport site, larger boats handled at the Hodgdon Marina dock in Boothbay Harbor.

Practical

Slips, moorings and a fuel berth, provisioning, indoor heated and unheated storage, outside hard standing on a 10.5 acre site. Certified Yamaha and Suzuki outboard service, inboard mechanics, electronics, rigging, Awlgrip paint, composite and carpentry workshops.

History

Hodgdon is the oldest continuously operating boatbuilder in the United States, founded in 1816 on the Sheepscot River and still owned by the Hodgdon family. The yard built classic cold-moulded yachts in the twentieth century and now services superyachts alongside its custom build programme.
