Approach and anchoring
The marina overlooks Barnegat Inlet and Barnegat Lighthouse. It is a private condominium association that also takes transient boats up to 60 feet.
Practical
There are 175 berths on floating docks, each with fresh water, 208V shore power, Wi-Fi and night lighting. Shore facilities include a heated pool, a fish cleaning station, a 24-hour ice machine and dock carts.
Ashore
Barnegat Lighthouse, known locally as Old Barney, stands a short walk away in Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. The 163-foot tower was lit in 1859 and was designed by Army engineer Lt. George G. Meade, later the Union general at Gettysburg.
