Anchorage just inside Barnegat Inlet on the New Jersey coast, near High Bar Harbor at the north end of Long Beach Island.

Approach and anchoring
Barnegat Inlet links the Atlantic with Barnegat Bay through Oyster Creek Channel. The inlet is protected by two lit jetties, but the channel shoals severely and buoys are shifted often. Strangers should transit only in settled conditions. Mud bottom.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. High Bar Harbor Yacht Club lies 0.2 mile to the south and Bayview Marina 0.3 mile to the south-east. A US Coast Guard station stands at the inlet.
