Full-service marina in Barnegat Light, on Long Beach Island, set in a protected harbour close to Barnegat Inlet.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
The marina sits in a sheltered harbour a short run from Barnegat Inlet, the gateway to the Atlantic. It lies roughly halfway between New York Harbor and Cape May along the New Jersey coast.
Practical
Two adjacent basins hold 150 floating berths for vessels from 23 to 120 feet, all with fresh water and 30, 50 or 100 amp shore power. The north basin was rebuilt in 2022 with aluminium frames and hardwood decking. There is petrol and diesel, a 40-ton travel lift, mechanical and hull services, a ship store and winter storage.
Ashore
Restaurants, shops and galleries are within walking distance, along with the Viking Village fishing fleet and its shops at the north end of the island.
