Port of Port Townsend public marina on the west shore of Quilcene Bay, at the head of the Hood Canal's northwestern arm.

Approach and anchoring
From the Hood Canal, head north into Dabob Bay then west into Quilcene Bay. The bay is shallow at its head; approach the marina along the marked channel with the rising tide if drawing over 2 metres. Sheltered from all but south winds funnelling up the bay.
Practical
Up to 50 berths, vessels limited to 11 metres LOA. Fuel berth, fresh water, shore power, pump-out, heads with showers. Boat ramp with daily fee, RV park with hook-ups. Office open Wednesday to Saturday, 07:30 to 17:30. Quilcene village at 2 km has a grocery and post office.
Ashore
Public swimming beach and picnic area on site. Quilcene oyster beds, among the largest seed oyster producers on the US west coast, line the bay. Mount Walker viewpoint 12 km south by road, with views over Hood Canal and the Cascades.
