Approach and anchoring
Hood Canal entry through the floating bridge at the north; Pleasant Harbor lies on the west bank, about 35 nautical miles south. The cove entrance is well marked and holds good depth at all tides. Anchorage in the outer cove is possible on mud, good holding.
Practical
Over 285 berths, vessels up to 45 metres. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, pump-out, fresh water and shore power on every berth. Free showers, laundry, heated seasonal pool, year-round hot tub. On-site restaurant and lodging. Provisions limited to the marina store; nearest supermarket at Quilcene, 24 km north.
Ashore
Olympic National Forest trails start within walking distance, with marina shuttle to the Rocky Brook Falls trailhead 8 km north. Dosewallips State Park 5 km north for beach access and shellfish gathering. Olympic National Park entry at Staircase 50 km west by road.
