Approach from the NW channel between Pomègues and Ratonneau. Sand holding, depths 4 to 8 metres. Sheltered from N, NE, E, S and SE but fully open to the W and NW where the mistral funnels through. Clear the bay if a mistral is forecast.
Ashore
Island trails across Pomègues and Ratonneau lead to the 17th century Hôpital Caroline and Fort de Ratonneau. Port du Frioul with its bars and ferry link to Marseille lies 600 metres by path.
