Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the W once clear of the Frioul channel. Sand bottom, holding reported as fair to good. Open to westerly weather, so unusable in mistral or onshore swell.
Practical
No facilities. Port du Frioul on the east side of the archipel is 0,8 NM to the NE for water, toilets and a ferry link to Marseille Vieux-Port.
Ashore
The island is part of the Parc national des Calanques. Coastal footpaths cross Pomègues from the anchorage to the ruins of Fort de Pomègues and the old quarantine batteries. No shops on the west shore.
