Approach and anchoring

On the east side of the ICW around statute mile 1079, less than a mile inside Bakers Haulover Inlet. Inlet depths run 12 to 15 metres at the bar, and the Haulover bridge has roughly 30 to 32 feet of air draught. Approach from the ocean is direct; the cut can run hard on the ebb against an easterly swell.

Practical

488 dry-storage racks for boats up to 60 feet, served by large forklifts. Fuel berth with petrol, bait shop, chandlery and a service yard on site. No wet berths for transient sailing yachts. Building is rated for a Category 5 hurricane.

Ashore

Haulover Park beach lies opposite the inlet, reached on foot through the pedestrian tunnel under Collins Avenue, about 800 m from the marina. Bal Harbour Shops sit 1.5 km south. Bus 120 runs along Collins Avenue toward downtown Miami Beach.
