Approach and anchoring
Direct access to Haulover Inlet, about 0.7 nm to the north, which opens onto the Atlantic. The inlet is known for strong tidal currents, shifting sandbars and steep seas in an onshore wind.
Practical
Gated marina with 152 wet berths for vessels from about 11 to 37 metres, each with shore power and water. Fuel berth open 6am to 10pm, plus a pump-out station, launch ramps and dry storage. The dockmaster building has a laundry, showers and ice. Daily rate around 2.12 dollars per foot.
Ashore
Haulover Park surrounds the marina, with a long Atlantic beach, a kite-flying field and a marked nature trail. Bait and tackle shops and a restaurant sit within the marina.
