Approach and anchoring
Access by the Canal lateral a l'Aisne from Conde-sur-Aisne to the east or from Berry-au-Bac to the west. The Canal de l'Oise a l'Aisne branches north here, running 48 km through 13 locks to the Oise valley. Keep to the channel axis.
Practical
Water and shore power available at the halt. Weed bottom for anchoring, otherwise tie up alongside. Pargny-Filain is 6.2 NM NW and Halte Chaillevois 8.2 NM NW on the feeder canal.
Ashore
Village of Bourg-et-Comin within walking distance, around 700 inhabitants, bakery and basic shops. The Chemin des Dames ridge lies 5 km north, a 30 km historic road along the 1917 battlefield with several memorials and the Caverne du Dragon museum.
