Approach and anchoring
On the Branford River, entered from Long Island Sound through Branford Harbour. The marked river channel carries about seven feet over a width of 100 feet, with strong currents near the mouth, so follow the green and red marks closely.
Practical
Around 180 berths take craft from small sailing boats up to large yachts. Each berth has fresh water and shore power. There is a fuel berth supplying petrol and diesel, and a 50-tonne boat hoist for haul-out. Contact on 203-488-8921.
