Approach and anchoring
The harbour sits behind a breakwater, marked by lit red and green buoys. Approach depth is around 12 ft and dockside depth 10 ft. A Michigan DNR harbour of refuge.
Practical
137 berths on fixed docks, around 60 for transient boats, taking vessels up to 150 ft. There is petrol and diesel, fresh water, restrooms and showers, a pump-out and a launch ramp. Long-term parking and a swimming beach adjoin the marina.
Ashore
Shops, restaurants, a grocery and a bank are within walking distance in the village. Two beaches sit nearby. Leelanau State Park and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse lie at the northern tip of the peninsula.
