Approach and anchoring
Lies just off the ICW channel on the Indian River, with a short, deep run to the Atlantic through the Fort Pierce Inlet. Charted approach depth around 7.6 feet and 8.0 feet at the docks. Call the harbour master on VHF 16.
Practical
A publicly run marina taking vessels up to 140 feet against 542 feet of bulkhead. The A, B, and C docks are newer concrete floating pontoons with in-slip pump-out; older fixed docks and the fuel berth are sheltered from the current. Fuel berth opens at 06:30. Free Wi-Fi.
Ashore
The marina sits in the centre of Fort Pierce, with the public library, shops, art galleries, restaurants, theatres, and museums within walking distance. A Saturday morning farmers' market runs on the nearby waterfront.
