Guide
Approach and anchoring
Entry via the grau from the Mediterranean, shallow draught only. The lagoon is wide open to the prevailing tramontane from the NW and to sea breezes from the S, so holding depends on scope in mud.
Practical
Water point on site. Port Grégau sits 0.2 NM to the W and the VNF pontoon of La Grande-Motte is 1 NM to the NW for fuel, berths and full services.
Ashore
The lagoon is a recognised windsurfing and kitesurfing flat-water spot. La Grande-Motte town centre and its pyramidal 1970s architecture by Jean Balladur lie 2 km SW, with beach access and full shops.
