Approach and anchoring

The marina basin sits at the foot of Main Street, reached off St Joseph Sound through the marked Intracoastal channels. Approaches are shoal and the marked channel must be held at low water.

Practical

Berths run as recreational, commercial, day-dock and municipal slips, with shore power and water at the pontoons. The basin, boat ramp, day docks and fishing pier were closed for storm-damage repairs, with no transient berthing during the works. Check current status with the harbour office before arrival.

Ashore

The marina opens directly onto downtown Dunedin, with shops, waterfront restaurants and craft breweries on Main Street within a short walk. The Pinellas Trail, a 75 km paved rail-trail, runs through the town centre for cycling and walking. Caladesi Island State Park lies about 2 miles to the north-west.
