Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Intracoastal Waterway in Clearwater Harbour and anchor in mud and weed. Holding can be patchy where the bottom is weedy, so set the anchor with care. The spot is open to the north and south but gives some shelter from the eastern and western quarters. Fresh water is available nearby.
Practical
Island Yacht Club lies 0.2 nm to the south and Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina 0.5 nm to the south-west. The municipal marina has more than 200 berths with showers, pump-out and a fishing pier; confirm fuel and transient availability before arrival.
