Approach and anchoring
Enter Smith Creek from the Potomac River about 7 miles north of Point Lookout, then follow the creek to the club. Approach depth around 14 feet, dockside depth about 10 feet. Fixed docks.
Practical
63 slips on three covered and three open docks, with 8 transient berths for vessels up to 120 feet LOA. Shore power 20, 30 and 50 amp. Pool, WiFi, boat ramp, fish cleaning station and clubhouse. No fuel berth on site.
Ashore
Point Lookout State Park lies at the southern tip of the peninsula, with the 1830 lighthouse, public beaches and the Civil War Museum on the site of Camp Hoffman, the Union prison camp where over 52,000 Confederate soldiers were held.
