Mud bottom, sheltered from north-west through to south-east, open to the south and south-west. Pirate's Den Marina lies 1.7 miles west; Coltons Point Marina is 2.6 miles east for fuel and supplies.
Ashore
St. Clement's Island State Park lies off Coltons Point, a 43-acre island reached only by boat where the first Maryland settlers landed from the Ark and the Dove in 1634. The St. Clement's Island Museum at Coltons Point runs a seasonal water taxi to the island.
