Guide
Approach and anchoring
Lying just off the Sausalito waterfront, the anchorage gives a lee from south-west and west winds. Allow for a tidal range of about 6 feet and an average depth near 20 feet. The mud gives loose holding, so set the anchor well.
Practical
Fresh water on site. Schoonmaker Point Marina is 0.2 nautical miles to the south-west, with Blue Water Yacht Harbor just beyond. The Richardson Bay Regional Agency limits anchoring to 72 hours.
