Approach and anchoring
Entered from Lake Michigan along the south lakefront, off Lake Shore Drive at 59th Street. One of the smaller Chicago harbours, set in lagoons dating from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Operated by Westrec Marinas.
Practical
Berths for about 125 boats from 25 to 35 feet. Transient docking by reservation from 15 May. Free waste pump-out on site. No fuel berth here.
Ashore
Museum of Science and Industry within a short walk of the harbour. 63rd Street Beach close by along the lakefront.
