Monroe Station houses the club's business office and formal dining and serves Monroe Harbour. Race boats dock here before the Race to Mackinac, and the race trophies are displayed at the station.

History

The Chicago Yacht Club was founded in 1875. Construction of the current Monroe Station began in 1955. The club runs the Race to Mackinac, a 289 nautical mile course to Mackinac Island and the oldest annual freshwater distance race in the world.
