Approach and anchoring

Reached by following the Chester River channel upstream from the Chesapeake Bay. The marina sits beside the Chester River Bridge linking Chestertown to Kingstown. Tidal range is small.

Practical

48 berths with 15 for transients, fixed and floating pontoons taking vessels up to 140 feet, including T-head berths for larger boats. Shore power at 30, 50 and 100 amp, fuel berth, pump-out, laundry, heads and WiFi. Kayak and canoe launching available.

Ashore

The shops, galleries and restaurants of historic downtown Chestertown are within walking distance. Wilmer Park, with a waterfront promenade and fishing pier, lies next to the marina. 98 Cannon Riverfront Grille serves food on a patio at the marina.
