Approach and anchoring

Approach from Lake Erie through the breakwaters at the mouth of the Cuyahoga, then keep to the Old River channel that loops around Whiskey Island. Dockside depth 1.8 metres. Sheltered from lake swell.

Practical

Address 5300 Whiskey Island. More than 60 in-water berths, year-round indoor rack storage for 275 boats, winter dry storage for 425. Maximum length 12 metres. Two transient berths. Electricity and water on each pontoon. Open all year, BoatUS cooperating marina.

Ashore

Wendy Park at the tip of Whiskey Island, with beach, picnic grounds and the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail, all under 500 m walk. Edgewater Park beach 1 km west along the lakefront. Downtown Cleveland Flats restaurants 3 km up the river.
