Approach and anchoring

Lies on the ICW close to Bogue Inlet. Approach depth around 16 feet, dockside depth around 14 feet, so deep-draught yachts are well served. Watch shoaling near the inlet and the river mouth.

Practical

About 20 berths with up to 10 transient. Fuel berth sells petrol and diesel. Restrooms and showers, picnic and grill area, ship store, dry stack, repair and service. Office open 8am to 4pm daily. Phone 910 326-4462.

Ashore

Swansboro historic district is a short walk from the town dock just north of the marina, with shops and restaurants along Front Street. The walking tour covers frame houses and store buildings dating from the 1880 to 1925 lumber boom.
