Approach and anchoring
Lies on the GIWW near channel marker 33, just by the Blackburn Point swing bridge. Natural and man-made structures shelter the basin. The waterway shoals quickly outside the markers.
Practical
Wet slips and dry storage with shore power and water. Fuel berth supplying petrol and diesel, marine supplies, maintenance and repair, bilge and waste pumpout. Restrooms with showers on site.
Ashore
Historic ground for the area: the Blackburn Point Bridge, a one-lane steel swing bridge built in 1925, stands beside the marina and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
History
The Blackburn Point Bridge dates from 1925 and is one of the few surviving manually operated swing bridges in Florida.
