Guide
Approach and anchoring
From the Gulf of Mexico, enter through the Venice Inlet and follow the Intracoastal Waterway south. Roberts Bay is enclosed enough to hold in most weather. Anchor in sand clear of the marked ICW channel and the marina approaches, leaving room for traffic running to and from the inlet.
Practical
Fresh water can be taken nearby. Venice Yacht Club is 0.1 nm W, a private club with around 68 berths and a fuel berth. Roberts Bay Marina lies 0.2 nm SW. The Venice waterfront has shops and restaurants within walking distance of the landings.
