Approach from the south. Sheltered from NW, N and W by the steep coast, open to the E and SE. Drop on sand patches clear of the seagrass. Holding is variable on the mixed bottom.
Practical
No services on site. Cap d'Ail marina lies 0.4 nm NE and Silva Maris port 2.5 nm W. Under the Alpes-Maritimes prefecture posidonia protection scheme, anchoring is regulated for vessels over 24 m.
Ashore
Sentier Friedrich Nietzsche climbs from Èze-sur-Mer station to the medieval village of Èze in about 1 h 15, elevation gain 400 m. The village holds the Jardin Exotique on the ruins of the old castle.
